Makishima to discuss carrier challenges and opportunities with 4G VoLTE and RCS

Barcelona, Spain (Mobile World Congress 2012) and San Francisco and Santa Barbara, CA – April 2, 2012D2 Technologies, the market leader in embedded IP communications software platforms, today announced that chief operating officer Doug Makishima is a keynote speaker at the third annual Rohde & Schwarz North American LTE Forum 2012, being held at the Westin San Francisco Airport April 3-4.   During his presentation, “VoLTE and RCS: Bringing IP Communications to 4G Networks” on Tuesday, April 3 at 9:45 a.m., Makishima discusses how advanced rich communications provided by IMS-based VoLTE and RCS can enable carriers to create new revenue-generating opportunities.  His talk also outlines the current status of VoLTE and RCS and how carriers can utilize these advancements to provide a better user experience.
